A Moment of Gratitude
Steve Moyer (left) and Les Allen (right), longtime champions of Central New York.
This Pride Month, Come Out CNY is helping produce three vibrant events that bring people together to celebrate, connect, and thrive — Electric Love at Gilded Club, our CNY Pride Weekend Kickoff at the Aloft, and Revolutionary Love to close out the month at Salt City Bar.
These events are joyful, yes — but they're also deeply meaningful. They create space for people to show up as themselves. To feel seen. To meet future collaborators, partners, and friends. These moments matter, particularly now.
None of this would be possible without the generous support of Les Allen and Steve Moyer, longtime champions of CNY as a wonderful place to live and thrive, — and without my new fiscal sponsorship arrangement with CNY Pride, which makes it possible for Come Out CNY to accept charitable support and turn it into community programming. I'm so grateful for their partnership and belief in this work.
Les and Steve didn't just make a generous gift. They are investing in possibility. They believe in the importance of queer joy, our queer stories, and queer community here in Central New York — and they are helping ensure that this vision can become real and sustainable.
If you've been moved by something we've done — if you've met someone, felt something, or seen potential in this work — I want to invite you to get involved. Whether you're an individual looking to support or part of an organization that shares our values, I'd love to hear from you.
Let's dream big together.
With gratitude and pride,
Kevin J. Bailey, Founder
