Come Out CNY and Pride Month 2026

Pride Month 2026 in Central New York is going to be one for the books. This is Come Out CNY's calendar of Pride Events — the events we are producing, co-producing, and partnering on across the month of June. From a regional theatrical premiere that opens tonight to an intergenerational dinner on the last day of June, there is something here for everyone.

And this is just our slice of it of the Pride month party. CNY Pride has a full community-wide calendar with events from organizers across the region - we'll point you there at the end of this post.

Late May: Kicking Off Pride Month

The Inheritance Play: Part I

May 28 & 29  •  CNY Jazz Central, 441 East Washington Street, Syracuse

Decades after the AIDS epidemic, three generations of gay men in New York City attempt to forge themselves a future. Inspired by E.M. Forster's Howards End, The Inheritance is a sweeping, deeply human examination of survival, healing, and what it means to call a place home. This is a regional premiere - a staged reading produced by Covey Theater Company in partnership with Come Out CNY. Both parts are presented over four performances. Mix and match dates that work for you. Seating is limited.

The Inheritance Play: Part II

May 30 & 31  •  CNY Jazz Central, 441 East Washington Street, Syracuse

Part II of The Inheritance continues the story, and it's worth seeing both. These performances are the conclusion of a four-night regional premiere event that spans the final days of May into the first day of June. Don't wait on tickets.

OUTworks CNY Workshop: Opportunity by Design

May 30  •  WCNY, 415 West Fayette Street, Syracuse

A free workshop for LGBTQ+ individuals in Central New York. Build career confidence, sharpen your professional skills, and connect with community.
