As we move into the holiday season, many families across the country are feeling the impact of deep cuts to food assistance programs. Here in Central New York, we know the power of community — how we show up for one another in moments of need, and how our shared tables can be spaces of connection, compassion, and care.
This month, Come Out CNY invites you not only to gather and celebrate, but also to give. At our events this month, we’ll be collecting food donations for the Samaritan Center, which provides hot meals and vital resources to people in need in our community.
Together, we can make a difference — one can, one jar, one meal at a time.
Support the Samaritan Center Food Drive
Most Needed Items:
Canned fruit and vegetables, juice boxes, peanut butter, jelly, vegetable oil, pan spray, toilet paper, ketchup, tuna fish, spaghetti sauce, bottled water, hot sauce, BBQ sauce, relish, fresh fruit, powdered milk, maple syrup, and tea bags.
You can also make a monetary donation online at samcenter.org.

Our signature after-work hangout returns! Enjoy half-priced punch, a full cocktail and mocktail menu, and good conversation — plus a chance to contribute to the food drive supporting the Samaritan Center.
