Come Out Central New York is honored to partner with ACR Health for a community gathering in observance of World AIDS Day. This year’s theme, “Then, Now, and Tomorrow,” invites us to reflect on the history of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, honor those we’ve lost, and renew our commitment to care, prevention, and solidarity for the future.
The evening will feature presentations from community leaders, advocates, and artists, including:
Kandis Backus, Gilead Sciences
Michael DeSalvo, Friends of Dorothy
Jaleel Campbell, Project OutLoud
Les Wright, Author & Activist
Attendees are invited to:
Learn about free & confidential HIV testing
Share HIV/AIDS stories and experiences
Learn about current treatment and prevention tools
View panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt
Explore resources at the community resource fair
This event is free and open to the public.
Together, we honor those lost too soon and stand with all who continue in the fight.
