About OUTworks CNY
LGBTQ+ people in Central New York are talented, resilient, and resourceful. And like anyone, they deserve access to career development spaces that don't ask them to minimize who they are to get ahead.
OUTworks CNY is a free community initiative from Come Out Central New York designed to meet that need. Through a series of practical, inclusive, and affirming events, OUTworks CNY connects LGBTQ+ individuals with the career tools, employer connections, financial planning resources, and peer mentorship that support real growth — on their own terms.
All events are free to attend and designed to be welcoming, accessible, and community-centered. No experience level required. No need to code-switch at the door.

Voice, Value & Visibility: Positioning Yourself with Confidence in the Workplace
You already have the experience. This workshop helps you find the words.
In this 3-hour interactive workshop, you'll clarify your professional identity, learn how to translate your lived experience into language that resonates in professional spaces, and build practical tools for self-advocacy — from polished resumes to confident workplace conversations.
